Media Advisory Committee Mission Statement:
“To provide the Residents of the Township of North Brunswick Direction and Representation on mass media communications, as well as instituting informational and educational content on its own broadcast channel TV15.”
Media Advisory Committee Goals 2009:
Inform the General Public as to changes from Analog Broadcast to Digital Broadcast TV.
Support The In House Studio with regards to hardware and software selection, repairs,
and purchases.
Oversee the Recording and Broadcast of Council Meetings etc.
Provide / Brainstorm original township content for broadcast
Seek to grow the viewer base of Channel 15
Support Website Re‐Broadcast of recorded meetings
Ensure the Quality of Service of alerts, news, and other notable events that are given to
the residents
Provide Residents a feeling of a Community Voice / Representation towards
Communication Companies such as : Verizon, Cablevision.
Budget Discussions to the appropriation of funding
To seek out Grants and other available funds for the Studio
Proactively Engage TV15 Programming to inform Residents of Municipal Activities and
Programs.
