2018 Civilian Police Academy
The North Brunswick Police Department is happy to announce that we will again be hosting the Civilian Police Academy!
The 2018 Civilian Police Academy class will be beginning soon.
Accepted applicants will work along side North Brunswick First Responders to gain insight into how the various Departments work. Each session will focus on a different facet of law Enforcement and emergency operations. The goal of this training opportunity is to have a better understanding of each other. The program will meet once per week, on Wednesday evenings, and is tentatively scheduled to begin on March 14th, and conclude on May 16th. Anyone interested in participating must complete the attached application, be over 21 years of age, and may be subject to a background investigation. Space is limited, so applications may be denied based upon any reason, including class size. Anyone with any questions should call 732-247-0922 x331.
At the end of this opportunity, graduates will have a better understanding of the methods used in Law Enforcement as well as many of the aspects involved. Priority selection will be given to North Brunswick residents and those persons that work within the Township. There will not be a physical fitness portion to this training, and there is no cost to register. Attendees will not possess any type of Police authority upon graduation.
